My [insider] friend told me that new Gawler Salvos [building] built with big fat grant that Gawler Council got from local government to supposedly support the growing number of poor people in the Gawler/Evanston/Munno Para and Smithfield area. “They were meant to run breakfast and lunches and laundry and shower facilities plus adult reading and writing classes, but so far not much has eventuated. “Tony Piccolo, [Gawler MP], and Gawler Traders behind the idea allegedly.
